spam is universally hated, as is telemarketing. however, it must work, or no one would do it. The key to spam is how cheap it is to send, how easy to steal resources to do it, and volume, volume, volume.
I have gotten any 'good' spam, and have never responded to a spam ad, and never will, it just encourages bad behaviour.

Only an idiot would respond to spam so if you are looking for idiots it would be perfect. No reasonable person would ever think of spending money with a spammer so no decent company would use spam to get customers.

I think its wasted effort. I hate it, I consider it a waste of my time.
I really hate the spammers on here- they are on the education page (they push ed-soup) and the diet page (all kinds of diets are spammed).
Most people don't like spam but apparently it's somewhat effective because it's all over the Internet.
