in my graphic design class im doing a logo design for a firm (can be any type of firm or local business)...but i have no idea which type of firm/business i should do this assignment on.got any good ideas? thanks!

Let me start by giving some valuable advise, take advantage of being in school. The experience and critiquing you will get in school is super valuable. I don't know how deep you into your design program, but no matter how far you are its super beneficial for you to select something that will put you ahead of others in your graduating class. So enough of my introduction, but your answer is do is on a design firm. Particularly a design firm which you are the Principal of. That way you are creating an Identity which you can refine more and more and most likely need to do anyways when you get to your portfolio class.

My company just came up with a new brand identity for our career colleges called Fortis College. The programs offered will include nursing programs, allied health programs, dental hygenist programs, etc.
