Question:
On the ask jeeves search engine, do you type in keywords or ask a question?
Answers:
You can do either.
i find it works either way, just like google
it works exactly like any other search engine. the ask Jeeves theme was a gimmick to try and stand out in the market. you can type in questions to any of the search engines, it makes little difference as most of the words you would use are ignored anyway, they are known as "skip words". for example "what is the capital of England?" contains 4 skip word, what, is, the, and of. therefore what the search engine actually sees is "capital England" and it brings back search results based on this.
You can do either but preferably ask a question.Google and ask use different algorithms and even though google is better than ask, some people prefer ask.
It is all due to search engine optimization. You can rank high on google but low on ask.To learn more about seo,you can go to http://poppaproductions.blogspot.com... or if you need seo help, sites like http://poppaproductions.net/websites.htm... can assist you better.
