Unless a company or organization makes their stats public -- which almost everyone never does except for the newbies with visible web counters -- you will never know exactly the traffic other sites get such as Beijing Olympics
However, there are companies that provide an estimate of the traffic. Here are some examples

Note though that these sites provide only an indication of the traffic numbers, not the exact or even the accurate numbers. Alexa for example only compiles statistics from those who have downloaded the Alexa toolbar.
