Question:
why do they never show the price of a product so that we can also compare the price and the spec..? if the reason is because they're selling to many countries which have different currency, why don't they show at least in USD in their website...??
Answers:
The reason is because typically these products are sold through distributors such as retailers who have a lot of leeway to set the end-user (that is, consumer) price which is not controlled by the manufacturer, though they can suggest a retail price which may or may not be followed by the retailer.
And yes, you are correct about the product potentially sold in different countries - therefore it may not be practical to name a price, which can vary a lot by country due to demand, taxes, duties and other matters. It would serve to confuse the consumer.
Also, for handphones, the price of the handset may vary - sometimes they are subsidized by the service provider and given away or sold at a deep discount.
So for these reasons, it is not practical in many cases for manufacturers to list a price for their products.
