I was with YTB as a travel agent and marketing rep, but didn't really make any money. In fact, I just sent my cancellation letter today. We tried it for 10 months.
I booked travel but I didn't even come close to getting back what I put in. I stayed with it hoping to take a vacation and save a decent amount of money before I quit. But, we planned a small trip and didn't get any perks with it.
I was under the impression when I started this that I could earn income by just booking travel alone if that's what I chose to do. That hasn't happened for me, but I won't say that some out there could do it. I think the way most people make money in YTB is by getting others to join.
YTB, in my opinion, is only good for those able to travel extensively and get enough of a discount to pay for what they've put in to their business. Then, there are conditions to the discounts and perks you might get. If someone has the money to spend to get started ($450) and pay the $49.95 monthly fee, that do it, but if you are seriously needing to make money, I'd think twice before you jump in. There are no refunds.
If you want to work at home, look for a company that will give you some time to see if it's for you and will give a refund if it doesn't work out for you.
I'm Sure Someone Will Give Me A Negative Feedback That Is Heavily Involved In YTB. To Them: I Wish You Success, But I Just Did Not Find It To Be Beneficial To Me Or My Family And I Don't Want To See Someone Else Lose $$$ If They Truly Need To Earn Income From Home. Thank You.
