Question:
Define the terms “Strategic Plan”, Vision, Mission, and “SWOTT analysis”. What is the relationship between an organization’s Strategic plan and its Process Improvement plan? Does your organization have a Strategic plan? How does your organization’s Strategic plan incorporate its Process Improvement plan? Provide examples to support your response.
Answers:
These are the key elements to a business plan...a SWOT (strengths, wekness, opportunity, and threats) analysis is basically the direction you are want to take your business in...a mission statement is a business' purpose...a vision is what you want the business to become (a clear stated projection of the future)...all of these make up your strategic plan.
Your process improvement plan keeps your business on track. It focuses on your goals and what you have to do to reach them. Also, it defines your problems and "weak" areas and gives you the opportunity to set goals to improve them.
A well thought out SWOT analysis and Process Improvement Plan are the building blocks to any well oiled business.
I feel sorry for anyone who takes your degree seriously.
Have some integrity and do your own homework.
did you even check out google?
strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and tactics (SWOT)
strategic plan (document that outlines the direction of a company usually over a period of 3 to 5 years in the future)
Mission and Vision are often the same and are usually stated in a simple sentence, ie google: do no evil.
Process improvement plans would not be outlined in any detail in a strategic plan, but would encompass another document.
