find out what your customers want and then get it for them. thats what I do. Its easier than trying to sell them something that they don't want or need
Selling is a numbers game. You have to make sure you have a big enough pipeline of prospects to convert into sales. That means you have to set targets for your sales team on number of telephone calls per day, number of sales meetings per week. Once you know how many calls convert to prospects, how many prospects convert to hot leads and how many hot leads convert to sales you can very quickly work out your likely sales per week and how many sales people you need to achieve your sales target.
No big mystery about it really but amazing how many companies don't do it.
offer discount incentives,like buy more than one item, give a discount , of say 10%, or coupons with a sale ,of a discount off next purchase,or offer discount on first purchase, to attract new customers,or give a discount to a customer spending say for example £50 or more,
