How might managers use the grapevine to their benefit? As a manager, how do you think you would use the grapevine to further organizational goals?
Answers:
I personally am not in favour of using the grapevine for letting information out, because I have seen it backfire against those who have tried so often. I would prefer to take what I heard and evaluate it in a logical manner, and then if there was something with merit in it, would approach the subject head on, in an open manner. Management is far too complex now without using an unofficial source to introduce change.
