Supply chain planning is a business term, its planning how your supply chain is going to work? A supply chain would be. A company wants to buy products to sell, it needs to work out how to get the product from its supplier, how much it will cost to purchase, how long it will want to store it in its warehouse, how much will that cost, when will it sell it, who to, who long is the products shelf line, how will it ship it to the customer, and so on, thats a supply chain.
