Here is the deal, I was working for one dept in a company and decided to apply for another position that is comletely different than what I am doing now. After inquiring about the new pos. with the manager there, they offered me the job. I then had to tell HR and my boss. (the new dept didnt follow protocol but HR went along with it) ...well I told my boss that I wanted to apply for another job within the company and HE gave me 2 weeks then decided to let me go after 3 days. I have been waiting to hear from HR and finally did today. They want me to come in to talk to them I asked them if I still had that new position and they wouldnt answer me and said that they want to speak to me in person. I have a real bad feeling that something went wrong and I will be out of a job completely now. Anyone ever been thru this?

You have made some very serious protocol errors. You may get the job. They want to know why your previous boss "papered" you to dath. I am certain your efficency report sucks big time right now.
