What are Argos' delivery times like?

Question:
I'm expecting a delivery today between 7am and 1pm and so far nothing. Do they keep to their promised times?

Answers:
It's still early, They usually turn up at 7 when your still in bed or 12.55pm. Theres nothing you can do, just sit and wait.
occasionally. When my deliveries have been on time they delivered at 6:45am b*stards woke me up!
I would call the number on your slip if you paid instore or get it off their website if u orderd online as it doesnt look like its coming today to be honest if u havent got it yet.
I stopped gettin stuff delivered off them because of this it came on days which werent promised(late) or in my case before xmas I paid for a fridge instore to be delivered a maximum of 1week later and it still hadnt arrived 2wk later I phoned em and there was a delay on the item and I was told I wouldnt receive it til middle of January!!I was fuming they had my phonenumber and address yet hadnt bothered to write or phone
I went straight back instore for a refund and went elsewhere

Hope your experience will be better than mine but Id give them a call asap.
i do not shop with them anymore because not only do they fail to deliver on time but even on the right day,

i do hope you have better luck then me
kind regards x kitti x
I've never had a problem. They were due to deliver before 1 last week, and arrived at 1 while I was still out. They waited!!
It's quite shoddy I have found, they turn up when they feel like it and don't stick to well to the delivery times they give you,but hey that's just my experience !! :)
Yes Argos direct are excellent i have loads of stuff from them and they never failed me.
I have ordered from them loads of times and they are generally vey good at their timekeeping
ive ordered two things from argos and both times they came early, never had to wait around
I have always had a good service they have come when they have said
Christmas was the only time it was late but you expect it then
they have always come on the set day.
See there has been a bit of a mixed response . My limited experience was that ordering was easy , delivery time given was convenient and the vehicle arrived slap bang in the middle of the agreed slot.
Maybe depends on what depot you get your delivery from , hope your works out OK because I know how frustrating it can be to wait in for goods or services that fail to arrive !!
Never had any problems in 2 yrs of ordering stuff. If they'd said in the morning in 3 days time, that's when it arrived. Always helpful when bringing heavy stuff. Wish the Post Office were that efficient really.
Usually- have you got it now?
Yes I find these monopolistic companies very unreliable and not to be trusted.

They have very broad and flexible times and don't tell you the precise time they deliver despite the drivers having specific schedules.

It would be more transparent and efficient for them to plan delivery routes in an integrated system and calculate precise times.
