Question:
I have been selling on ebay for a while now and had my share of deadbeat buyers who did not pay. I have a person with -2 feedback bidding on my item. the only feed back they have is 2 and both are because they did not pay. should i block them from buying my item?
Answers:
heck yes, I would definitely block them. When I sell, I add to the description that I only want buyers with 95% positive or higher and those who have at least 10 ratings, that usually weeds out most of the deadbeats that wont pay
yes, unless you want to give it away
Yes, chances are, they will do the same thing to you.
I would refuse them. Proven deadbeats. Also, complain to eBay! ~
Yes! The non-paying buyer process is a pain and their track record should be a red flag to you.
I would suggest it. In the future I would suggest stating in your text that you will not accept bids from anyone with less than 5 or 10 feedback.
you should only accept payments though paypal.
and i would block them =]
Definitely. They obviously haven't proven that they're a trustworthy bidder.
That's a red flag. This bidder is a loser.
If you are totally confident in your ability to collect from the bidder, and clearly state the description and payment/returns policies, why discourage the bidder? Maybe they just met with a dishonest seller, as there are a few. Low Feedback is not a good enough reason to block a bidder in my opinion. Insurance and delivery confirmation plus paypal protect you.
