Answers:
I'm sorry. I just researched it and could find nothing about Clout. I tried there website and was kicked out also. My only suggestion is to keep trying. I probably wouldn't risk sending it through the mail either. Good luck.
Yeah...I also got a card with these bastards and I can't pay my bill either. Their website and their customer service line are dead. Maybe someone blew up their headquarters a la Fight Club. Lol.
If you need a buddy for a class action lawsuit against these bastards don't hesistate to email. This is shady as hell.
Yeah, I'm in the same situation.
I'm in the exact same predicament. Supremely frustrating.
Once upon a time I used this creditor regularly but I have not needed to for some time but I thought it strange when received a letter and a new Bank of America credit card in place of my Clout card.
Check this link out; it mentions the transfer...
https://www.cloutrewards.com/newprogram.
This is a billing phone # which was on a link in relation to the said page - 800 673-5172
I spent a lot of time looking into this--I've called the Better Business Bureau, the FTC, the Office of the Controller of the Currency, and the Office of Thrift Supervision (who is apparently the org. in charge of this sort of thing), all to no avail. I'm at the point of giving up, except for the thought of having a badgering collection agency calling me. Wouldn't it be nice if all of our debt just disappeared!
I wish my debt could be erased then I'll have some free money left to spend on other things. Anyways I'm in the situation as everyone here, I tried to pay my bill a couple of weeks ago and find that the website and telephone # both have been taken down. Now I'm pretty much without a credit card and am wondering where exactly do I send the bill?
Hello. I created this account simply to help you with this question 'cause it frustrated me so much also. A couple of months ago clout visa sent out a letter about transferring to accounts to another company. I didn't really pay attention to it and it stayed on my desk for months. I too tried to get on line and started freaking out, but I found the letter and read the small print more closely. MBNA America has merged with Bank of America. The contact number is 800.448.7061. I just spoke with them so I know it's right. Hope that helps everyone!!
I've been receiving bills from "Bank Of America" now so i guess they switched over or something. I have to get the info from my mom cause my payment is coming up and as soon as i do i'll give you their info.
I too remember (vaguely) their site saying something about changing to Bank of America. I have not recieved anything from anyone in the last 2-3 months, so yesterday I called the Bank of America customer service number (1-800-732-9194) and told them what happened. They were able to find my information by confirming my address and Social Security Number.
Apparently I never recieved the card because they say my credit score isn't good enough for their company, and he had to change something in the computer so that I could get monthly statements to pay off what I owe.He never could explain WHY I stopped getting the monthly statements.
