Depending on your credit, it shouldnt cost you anything to get a credit card. Just go online to any website (google) and type in "apply for credit card" you should get numerous web sites for different credit card companies. or if you really want a mastercard, just type in mastercard. But remember, visa, mastercard, are the same..just make sure you find a card that's right for YOU, not only what kind it is. If you apply and are instantly approved, then great! they'll send you info and your card in a couple weeks. You can always apply and instead of the internet, call the 800 number so you can speak with somebody and they can be more helpful with your questions. If there is a payment for a credit card (start up fee, activation fee, or whatever) that all doesnt start until you USE the card. By calling to activate the card once you receive the card, means you'll pay those charges. It'll be on your statement and you can usually do it on the internet, over the phone, or send in a payment.
