Can I file Bankrupt anywhere online?

Question:
I am only 22 and my husband is 23. We trashed our credit and and now feel like we can't get out of the mess we are in. We owe way to much to start paying on it. The interest will just eat us alive. I am not trying to bail my debt off on other people to pay, I just want a clean start and to stay away from credit cards, bills i don't need, and all the extra. We have since learned that if we cant pay with a debit card or cash we don't it!! There are to many things that go on your credit report to have it trashed!! Is there anywhere you can file online and get it done quick? Thanks in advance!! :)

Answers:
Bankruptcy must be filed in person (bankruptcy court) in your local jurisdiction. Contact a bankruptcy attorney in your neighborhood to start the ball rolling.
See an attorney. You want the paperwork to be in order. You will still have to pay off a percentage of your debt now. The laws have changed.
No a bankruptcy is a legal proceding and must be filed with a lawyer, who takes the information to a judge that rules whether you can be declared bankrupt...

You have to meet criteria to file here is some information on that.

I've helped many people with their debts, and some have had to file for bankrutpcy.

This is a terribly complicated procedure. If you make a single mistake in your paperwork, your BK will be dismissed and you will have to file again in 6 months. During that time you can be assured your creditors are going to be trying very hard to collect whatever they can.

Contact a BK lawyer. Many will offer a free consultation to go over your situation and see if it's right for you. They will also see if you can qualify for a Chapter 7, and advise you on how to proceed.
