A bank account was opened in my name to commit fraud. How can I resolve this?

A bank account was opened in my name w/o my permission, and someone has committed fraud with this account. Can I resolve this w/o being liable for the charges?

Call the bank first then call the police file a police report. If you didn't open the account you aren't liable for it
