Is there such a program that you can pay a monthy fee to a bank to increase you credit score?

Question:
I read in a reply to another persons question that there is a program that banks offer where you pay a monthy fee to increase your credit score. Does anyone know anything about that?

Answers:
Yes, that's called a credit card. If you always pay it in full, it does increase your credits score (btw, some come without the monthly fee)
No , that would be illegal
Yep, illegal. But financial institutions used to do it years ago with delinquent accounts. They would clean up the trade with that particular bank for payment on a delinquent account, now it's a big no no.
No, that would be in violation of the fair credit reporting act.
you can take out a credit card or loan.
