Where did you obtain the report? If you pulled it yourself, there should be a page of contact information.
If you pulled it online, you should be able to log into your account and click on a link that says "dispute". It will ask for a few numbers to verify the report and you can submit it that way.
I would not try to call Experian. All the credit bureaus have an automated system that loops you around and around for as long as you'll listen. You cannot really speak to a real person unless you are submitting a fraud claim...in that case, they actually give you the number to call.
I always advise my clients that they should put the dispute in writing and put it in the mail. Writing is the best way to resolve the issue. Just make sure that you send the proper supporting documents.
Remember that Experian only has 30 days to investigate your issue and get back to you.
Good luck!

They may dispute that it is an error.
You then have the right to give them your contrary explanation, and have it there so that if anyone requests credit report on you from Experian, that will include your explanation about the error or mistake not being your fault

You cant call; you need to fix it by mail. I recommend credit repair unless you have lots of time and a high tolerance for aggravation. Some things are better left to the professionals. Usually companies charge hundreds of dollars to simply pull your credit and send correctly worded dispute letters—this is the key…..people will tell you that you can do this yourself for free but the truth of the matter is that the credit bureaus will throw your letters away or simply reject them. There is an easy to use online kit that will deliver the results you want available for just $19.95 at the source website. A similar kit is being sold via infomercials and radio talk shows for seventy dollars more but they try to solicit you repeatedly for other services after the fact.
