Question:
What sort of jobs can a 13 year old boy do for a bit of money.
Answers:
Well, you can do babysitting and stuff if you are responsible enough. You can't work legally in the U.S. untill you are 14 and even then you have to get a permit approved by your parents and the state (well, that's how it is here in N.Y). Umm.babysitting is the only I can tink of righ tnow. You can do chores aroudn the house and tell your parents to pay you for that. I am sure they wouldn't have a problem, since it will teach you to be reponsible (not saying you are not) and hey who doesn't like helping them doing chores.
Good Luck!

Babysitting, paper boy?
I should think a paper round is about all you would be able to do as there are legal restrictions for children under 16 working.
mowing lawns, news paper delivery, baby sitting, pet walking, just to name a few
Lawn mowing and raking, in the winter time shoveling snow. Otherwise you are not of legal age to work in a place of business.
The best sort of jobs you can have at your age is things like a paper round, babysitting, car washing etc as there are laws as to how many hours a person of your age can work. you could ask around your neighbours and see if they want anything doing like shopping or dog walking to earn a little.
Everyone is saying paper rounds. Nowadays, those jobs are pretty much obsolete because people who own cars delover papers now. Here is an excellent idea: if you live in a housing development, go and buy a sprayer and some paint brushes, and some sealant for fences if you do not have any already in your garage. You see, putting sealant on your fence is usually a yearly thing. People will pay big bucks to have someone do that sort of thing for them. That is really the American Dream. So, you can charge about fifty cents to a dollar per linear foot of fencing you paint. Trust me, you will have a very good business going, and all you need is some determination.

You could do worse than to try here: http://www.marketingpond.com/ref.cgi/115...
It's free to join and could earn you some extra without too much effort.
When I was 13 I got a job on the local market! They are always looking for an extra hand and are happy to take on someone of your age.
Also if you go to carboot sales and pick up books and games at a bargain price then sell them on Ebay, I've managed to get a few pennies that way!
Good Luck!!
