To start you off I'm 16 and I'm looking for a job to make some extra cash. I dont need advise on where i can work. I need advise on how to get a job. You see I've applied at a couple of stores. I turned in a application and didnt get anything back. Here's where i have some questions. Who do I turn in the application to? the store manager? or could it be anybody that works in the store? Should i also ask to schedule a interview when I turn in the application? Any advice would be good because it's hard to get a job.

Go to the store during slow time. Since the store isn't busy, you can ask to speak with the manager on duty. Try to do this before filling out their application form.
Dress appropriately. You want to project that you are a reliable and responsible person.
Remember you want to project that you are a professional and reliable person, don't go with a group of your friends. Show that you went to the store for the sole purpose of applying for a job, rather than hanging out with friends and happened to drop by.
