Virgin played a blinder on this one!
They took advantage of the situation with regard to the price fixing, but I`m sure they heard rumours they were close to being rumbled. They then blew the whistle on the situation, so they didn't get prosecuted, and managed to screw one of their main competitors over!
Very underhand, but then all the big businesses use tricks like this.
British airways and virgin atlantic colluded together to fix prices,Virgin grassed b a up so they got off paying,It sucks.
Virgin didn't get fined as a way of encouraging 'whistleblowing' in such situations. If they got fined too, what would be the point in owning up? Bit sneaky of Virgin though...
think this is entrapment ,both of them at it but Virgin reported it so BA get punished
