Question:
it is kind of streatching it but doesnt everyone with a business try to stretch the write offs as much as possible--
i have a laundry business-- full service pick uip drop off wash dry fold dry cleaning coin laundry everything
since i do the pick up drop off portion
could i fly to like easter island or some exotic island take a vacation and do laundry there and claim the flight as an expence to do business?
Answers:
Nope
What did you have to do in the state you live in to do business, pay taxes, licensing, etc? Without those can you legally do business somewhere else? You are not stretching it, you are lying. You won't be able to just do laundry there. Bad idea. Be honest and just pay for your own vacation.
That is stretching it.
A different approach would be to seriously consider opening up a laundry operation on Easter Island. Find a laundry you would like to acquire by searching on the Internet for example. Begin written discussions with the owner and set up a trip to do an inspection of the property. Involve a Realtor on the Easter Island side. Keep documentation on everything.
I hope you are beginning to get the picture.
If not I can't help you any further.
