I have some excessively large bills that are measured at 8" x 18". I received them from my grandmother's will when she passed away and all I know is that they have been passed through the family for generations. Are these legal tender? Will stores accept them?

They probably have more value to a dealer that sells coins and currency. Oversized bills like that were the norm at the end of the 19th - beginning of the 20th century.
What year are they? You'd be better off at a coin shop.
Who's picture is on them? They might be novelty bills. Take to a bank and ask them-don't try cashing them before you get them checked out-could land you in jail
Not unless they are a coin collector shop. Our country has changed our currency many times over the years and most people/places won't accept what they don't recognize.
You say these have been passed down over GENERATIONS. Why are you asking about spending them? You should hold on to them.
