I live in Orange County, CA. My lease is up in October and I noticed that most of the companies aren't running many specials because the kides are all coming back to college. Is November or December a better month to look for another lease?

It depends on the housing market. If there are lots of available apartments then there are more likely to be specials. Therefore, if you can hold on until early next summer when all the kiddies leave school, you will probably have the best results. Good luck to you.
