It depends on your market. My best advise is to have 3 realtors come in and give you a market analysis for your area, what you want to specifically ask is what is selling, how long and under what terms. If you can live with those parameters, then list with the agent you feel gave you the true information, not just what you wanted to hear.
it is a better time to buy then sell right now.
currently the market is flooded with foreclosure properties---so a buyer litereally has their pick. on the other side...houses are sitting for a long time and unable to sell for "what they are asking"
