Question:
I am a Canadian residing in Canada and I have been asked to do some work (web-related) for a US company. It's a small amount of work (probably around $3000 US). Do I have to file a US income tax return and do I need an ITIN number?

Answers:
As long as you do the work in Canada, the answer to both questions is "No."
