How do you caculate taxes on a caculator?

Question:
i have $269.00 i want to know how much it would be after taxes plz plz plz help me!!

Answers:
If you have a standard calculator all you need to do is to multiply the $269 by (1+(taxes/100))
For example, if taxes were 15%:
$269*(1+(15/100)) = $269*(1.15) = $309.35
And if you wanna know how much is the 15% of $269, just multiply the $269 by (15/100)
depending on the tax. if the tax is 7.5, then you divide 269 by 7.5
