Question:
I filed them months ago and should have received them by now but haven't.do I contact the IRS or Turbo Tax?
Answers:
First check this IRS link and see if there is any updated info on your refund:
https://sa1.www4.irs.gov/irfof/lang/en/i...
If no information is there, then you need to call the IRS and talk to an agent--800-829-1040.
There may have been a transmittal problem and they may have never received your return, or maybe there was a problem with it and they are taking a long time to review it. Definitely contact the IRS and NOT Turbo Tax though.
Start with the IRS and make sure they have or haven't got the forms
1st you want to conctact the IRS to make sure they recieved the tax documents. With turbo tax you usually submit them and then you have to do a confirmation about 48 hours later...and it tells you after that when to expect your refund...did you do that step?
If you are sure the documents got to the IRS you would contact them. You can go to the IRS website and check the status of your refund (if you know the amount) at this site:

IRS and tubro tax to make sure it went thru
Check irs.gov, click on "where's my refund" - if you don't get your answer, call them.
www.irs.gov, click on "where's my refund?", you will need your ss#, filing status, and exact amount of your refund.
