An opinion on Roni Deutch Tax Center.?

Question:
I need to know the opinion on Roni Deutch Tax Center. Can any one help who have experience with the Company?

Answers:
Its a rip off unless you don't mind paying a few thousand dollars to some one who probably has more complaints listed with the IRS for not following through on working on the issues they charged for.

You can submit your own Offer in Compromise, the Form 656 will require you to disclose all of your financial assets to the IRS and 80% of the time an OIC is rejected. Unless you have absolutely no way to ever pay on what you owe, you are better off setting up a payment arrangement , make the agreed payments, submit the OIC and see what happens.
You can usually get an Enrolled Agent to assist with the OIC form.
I will not resort to badmouthing any of my competitors. I will say however that you should search to see if there are any complaints about the professional you decide to hire to represent you. This is a nasty industry and there are alot bad companies around.
You need to be very careful with whom you select to represent you. There are alot of tax resolution companies out there that are complete scams. Especially some of the larger ones. I am an Enrolled Agent and represent taxpayers in these matters on a daily basis. No one should be selling you on an any kind of resolution plan without first analyzing your compliance status and ability to pay the tax debt. You should also make sure that you only talk to an Enrolled Agent, a CPA, or an Attorney that specializes in tax representation. Alot of companies will only have you talk to a salesperson upfront that will sell you a so called "pennies on the dollar" offer in compromise...don't fall for it! Speak with someone who is qualified first. Do not sign any agreement or spend any of your hard earned money until you have spoken with a licensed Enrolled Agent, CPA or Attorney who is experienced in tax representation and can answer TOUGH questions. Make sure you feel comfortable with whoever it is you decide to hire. I have alot of good information on my website that is there free of charge for your reference without having to hire anyone. If you decide you do wish to have professional representation you are of course welcome contact me. There is no fee and no obligation for the initial telephone conversation. Best of luck.
